5 year limited warranty

Axolotl for Amarr AX3592 sectional doors are manufactured by Amarr Company with premium quality Axolotl applied surfaces and workmanship. This Amarr Limited Product Warranty applies to Axolotl for Amarr AX3592 complete doors (sections and functional hardware) under normal and intended usage and installed and maintained at the home of original installation in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions in residential single-family, residential condominium, or similar residential multi-family housing. This Amarr Limited Product Warranty is non-transferable or assignable in whole or part and is only valid to the original purchaser.

### Applied Metal, Concrete, and Terracotta

The Axolotl Applied Surfaces are warranted against faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase for applications against peeling or cracking, provided there has been no significant water, impact damage, bending, excessive heat, chemical, or abrasives applied to the surface or the substrate. Purchaser accepts responsibility for the cleaning and maintenance of the product as outlined in the product data sheet. Purchaser is ultimately responsible for the selection of the substrate and its suitability for the application/location. Axolotl warranty is void where improper substrates and/or pre-treatments for the application/location lead to damage. Liability under this surface warranty is limited to surface preparation and reapplication of the original finish. This warranty does not cover nor extend to applied patinas and topcoats. Refer to the relevant data sheet for further information.

### Aluminum Sections and Door Hardware

The aluminum sections, parts, functional hardware, and springs of an Axolotl for Amarr complete door under normal and intended usage are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase. Claims under this warranty must be made in writing promptly after discovery of the defect. Amarr Company warrants that upon inspection, Amarr Company will, at Amarr Company’s option, repair, repaint, replace, or refund at original purchase price items of an Axolotl for Amarr door that are defective in material or workmanship. Any expenses for shipping, removal, installation, painting, or labor shall be the responsibility of the original purchaser.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to any damage or deterioration caused by:

– Normal wear and tear
– Failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance as defined by manufacturer’s care and maintenance instructions
– Product abuse or misuse
– Product repair, alteration, and/or additions
– Improper installation or handling of the garage door or electric garage door opener
– Use of a pressure washer to clean the areas surrounding the sectional door or the door itself
– Fire, hail, hurricanes, tornadoes, flood, wind, or any other acts of God or nature
– Atmospheric and other local conditions, including, but not limited to: areas subject to fallout or exposure to corrosive chemicals, fumes, salt spray, ash, cement dust, animal waste or foreign substances, and areas subject to abrasive cleaners
– Vandalism, accident, neglect, radiation, or water runoff from lead, copper, or galvanic metal flashing
– Any cause beyond the reasonable control of Amarr Company

This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than Amarr Company.

### Limitation of Liability

THE LIMITED WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUDES ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE NOT SPECIFICALLY UNDERTAKEN HEREIN, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS DEATH, INJURY, DAMAGES TO PROPERTY, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM LOSS OF USE OF ANY PRODUCT OR FACILITY. ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. TO THE EXTENT THAT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE NOT DISCLAIMED, THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES HEREIN. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages or on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state or province to province.

### Claim Process

To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, contact Amarr Company via email at ask.amarr@amarr.com. Send a complete description with photographs of the issue and proof of purchase. Response may take up to 2 weeks from receipt of the warranty claim. Claim resolution may require evaluation of the issue by a professional door installer, Axolotl Global representative, or Amarr Company representative.
